Get Well Brandon

While I was in class tonight I got a text - "B was hit by a car". I froze...I panicked.

He is ok. No broken bones. His back and hip might keep him off the bike for a bit. He was in a cross walk riding his bike home from school. @ 30mph(per witness) a car took out his rear wheel... He got up and told the lady he was fine, so the lady gave him her name and phone number and drove away. What?!? Reality must have set in and B was immediately hospitalized after witnesses called 911. I received a message from Brandon while I was on my ride home. He said he was really sore, but that he is ok. So far that is all I know. I can't seem to get a hold of anyone up in Marshfield. Hopefully more info will come, along with good news on Brandon's recovery. Brandon, Get well and and keep those pedals turning(riding is your ticket to many things in life)

So sorry to hear about this. Get well soon Brandon.
I'll be thinkin' about Brandon and this incident all day. There may be a post coming about this on bikesafer as well.
Get back on the bike as soon as you can Brandon. Not all drivers are like this.

I got a text from Trixie this morning and I was really worried. I am with her in that I am very happy that B got away with no serious injuries. You are one tough guy! I hope that the doctor has good news and that you are on your way to a speedy recovery. I will be thinking of you and your fam! Miss you!

Thank you EVERYONE so much for your well wishes for Brandon! Of course, it is a mother's job to think of what "could have" happend...so much so that I made myself sick last night. But my baby is okay and I give thanks to the Lord for looking out for him! And please forgive me if this next comment makes anyone uncomfortable, but Cody, your comment was pathetic!

I left a comment yesterday, but I don't know what happened to it. I honestly do wish him well. I didn't mean that the bike was important. I'm sorry. If there is anything I can do, or do in the future let me know.
