If anyone has someone worth searching for...let me know. Yesterday's search didn't pan out.
It's time my leg gets professional attention.

Oakley Jawbone

Already swapped the Jaws to get more of an "EXPO" pair. Unboxing will be here:

O Snap

Oakley is on it's way to EXPO's individual doorsteps...First arrivial should be this afternoon delivering the new Jawbones. There after should be a trickle-down as the rest of EXPO says "Ooh ooh I want some!".

Off to spin my hurting leg...

Iola - WORS #1 - EXPO Junior Debut

Great weekend! Juniors proved to be a force that will only get better in time. EXPO covered every category - Cit Youth, Citizen, Sport, Junior Expert, and Cat 1. Results and bios are down the trail. Personal race reports in due time (they are all still in school). Thanks to Jeremey for some pics. Knock on his door for a more detailed report. He also has like 500 pics...

These are their mugs:

(GF29/EXPO)
Got the fixie out today and cruised the city taking errands around while unwinding the legs. Legs were mighty sore after my DNF effort. Got some work to do that is for sure. Got some emails today from some EXPO teens detailing their week's training schedule...How cool is that?
Endura kits are so nice. I can't thank them enough for taking care of us. Seriously - check the link and click them out. Some truly amazing product, custom or not.

Feels so GOOD

Wow did a pre-ride feel good today! So much so I may give the fixie a go tomorrow...

Jordan couldn't find his already too small shoes - so we stopped by Steven Point's Hostel Shoppe for a quick shoe buy before this weekend's festivities went under way. Walk into the front door of the Hostel and Mr. Scott Cole was there to greet us. Was it great to see him. Can't thank you enough Scott for helping Jordy-poo out.

Ran into many a EXPO and a fraction of the friends today - sure to see even more tomorrow. Gonna be fun folks! See you all there.

Shifting of Focus

As my semester comes to a close I begin to feel the tide adjust. Training can resume and fun can re-enter my brain. I have a semester exit-interview tonight and a Math final tomorrow then the summer may finally begin.

Iola will be the opening "hang-out". I will have the cameras on hand and a bike to get around. No racing for me - just supporting the EXPO masses and friends alike. I am going to ease into things this time around. Treat June like base miles and the hammie like a queen.

Bring your A-game to Iola to hang with the juniors, Iola will be the sent message...

See you there... or somewhere.

Endura is so HOT

QualiT folks. WORS #1 - Iola is the debut. Jersey is sickly out of this world. Zip pocket, glasses wipe and gripper on the back. Arm warmers are no joke. Beware.

Trans Iowa v5 Pics

Can't thank enough peoples for making TI V5 happen. I wish all events were of this nature. I wish TI went on till I was of a proper ripe age for a TI killing too. More to come after some school work gets knocked out of the way.

Joy ride to checkpoint #1 was so fun. A bit too fast however, finally had to say goodbye a little ways after checkpoint #1.

Tired.

3.5hours in we were ready to literally fall asleep.

Loong rollers - momentum stopped before you started back up.

54miles after Checkpoint #1

I honestly loved the B roads.

Aris killed every climb.

These dogs loved us.
Can't wait to do it again. A finish will be mine someday. Someday.

Checkpoint 2 + 10

Aris magled his chainring after 150miles of unbelievable climbing. His potential in all aspects of cycling scares me more and more each day.

He was "forced" to call it quits.

My right hamstring was telling me not to forget it, the entire ride. While I refueled at checkpoint 2 the hammy tightened up beyond repair. I assumed it would loosen up once I got riding again - obviously was just not the case. I turned around about 10 miles after checkpoint 2 and took shortcuts back.

Fresh gravel sucks - B roads are awesome! I've got improvements to make. Pics amd more words to follow. We're on our way home wishing we had finished.
