ICEMAN Prep

Temps were floating right around 37 degrees with light scattered sprinkles at the start. Predicted high was 40. What to wear? When to start warming up? How much drink? Food? These are all questions that the Iceman conditions truly affect.

Shelley, Brandon, Kathy and Sue.

Dar tried sneaking out on course with a vintage EXPO jersey...we set that correct real quick.

Love the look on their faces - First time Icemen. First point to point. First time racing >27miles(without a break). First time racing in November. First race in MI. First time they would be racing in the same category (All Men 12-14).

Packed and Loaded

The best part about Iceman is that the leaves are on the ground and the peeps always want to have a good time. Winter is oh so close. Oh yeah, I love winter riding clothes. Endura is sure to treat me well this Iceman with this, and these. Can't wait to for the rainy coldness!

Winter ready AND Waterproof!

We do have most of EXPO Nation (Add Theo and Jordan to that list) head'n Iceman's way, so you best look out. We will be having a good time. Utterz updates to come!

Awe Yeah

Awe Yeah! My mug made it on FOX 6 news piece. It aired on Halloween night during FOX 6's 9-O'clock News. Jordan is seen hopping the coffins too. The vid finally made it to FOX's web. Direct link to my mug is HERE.

Clean the Bike - Enjoy 70+

I went ahead and finally cleaned my Iceman bike. The last time my 9.9 hit the dirt was the 2008 WORS Finale. I thought about prepping clothing and such. However, I am going to wait for the temps to drop before I actually pack my Iceman bag, cause if I pack at 70+ degrees, I will forget my booties...

I must go and enjoy the bicycling weather as should you. A commute north is just what the doctor ordered.

BikeSafer posted a short vid of the WI Night Race State Championships. In the clip Russell is caught cutting wood, so check it. He was also caught wearing some bling the other day which I had to rip from his blog for personal use.
